Use a simple verification sequence

1. Preview the link in your device before opening it.
2. Check the organisation and website destination against independent documentation.
3. Match the battery identity with the relevant vehicle and battery records.
4. Inspect the dates, definitions and access limitations.
5. Ask the seller or record provider to resolve discrepancies.

You should not need to send your vehicle details to an unrelated site merely to understand a field. If a service requests personal information or payment, check what it provides and why that information is required.
