Read the definition before the number
The same-looking number can answer different questions depending on its units, reference and date. This table is an interpretation aid, not a complete legal data schema or a promise that every field is publicly accessible.

| Capacity / performance | Is the figure rated, gross, usable or currently measured? Under what conditions? |
| Durability | Does this describe a test, an expected characteristic or an observation in use? |
| Repair / disassembly | Who is permitted to access and use the information? Does it require professional training? |
| Sustainability | What boundary and method does the environmental figure use? |
| Reuse / recycling | Does this describe a future possibility, instructions or the battery’s actual status? |
Missing is not zero
If a field is inaccessible or not provided, preserve that uncertainty. Do not replace a missing SoH with a model average or interpret an absent repair record as evidence of no repairs. Keep the original labels alongside any explanation.
Using a field in an EVVerity tool
Only transfer a value when its meaning matches the calculator input. A gross energy figure is not the original usable baseline. An environmental rating does not determine driving range. Review our data labels and methodology before combining records.
