Battery options & usable capacity
Renault’s October 2022 passenger Kangoo release explicitly gives 45 kWh of usable energy. This preset is for that E-Tech Electric Combispace reference. Earlier Kangoo Z.E. vehicles and commercial versions need their own matching documents.

Charging capability
Renault lists two charging systems in this passenger launch release: 11 kW three-phase AC, or a 22 kW AC / 80 kW DC combination. Selecting the correct reference is essential: do not assume that every example has DC charging. The source also links liquid cooling and resistance heating to the 22 kW system.

Battery warranty
The October 2022 release describes an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty with a 70% nominal-capacity condition. This historical manufacturer statement is context, not proof of eligibility or remaining cover. Confirm the original-market booklet and transfer terms.
Things worth checking before purchase
- Distinguish the passenger Combispace from the van, and E-Tech Electric from an older Kangoo Z.E.
- Check which of the two documented charging systems is installed and demonstrate its ports.
- Ask for the battery-warranty start date and documents for any battery work.
- Measure consumption with the load and route you expect to use; an empty test drive may not represent a working day.
